As always the update would be unnecessary but for the hard work of Primary Challenge volunteers across the state.  So much is happening and all the credit goes to you.  Thank you all for your steadfastness.

Primary Challenge joins Team Watch
During our last quarterly meeting, Sheryl Thomas gave a presentation of Team Watch.  Team Watch is a program designed to help forge constructive cooperative dialog with our elected officials.  Team Watch facilitators will organize meetings with Representatives, monitor their activity, and report their activities to our members.  This will greatly help all of us that would like to see a more responsive and representative government.  The early response to the Team Watch concept by our elected officials has been promising and I trust all  of you will join in Sheryl’s efforts.  To get involved or to stay informed of Team Watch progress the website is www.teamwatch.us/ny/ <http://www.teamwatch.us/ny/>

Call for candidates
This year we will be holding local elections.  Town, city and county offices are up for election.  Also, remember that committee positions in certain counties will also be up for election.  If you would like to run for office at any level or would like to run for a position on the nominating committee of your party please send an email to reform@primarychallenge.org.  I will make sure you have the information you need to run an effective race.

26th Congressional Race update
As you are aware, a special election will be held on May 24th to replace former Congressman Chris Lee.  Primary Challenge has determined to support Republican Assemblywoman Jane Corwin in this race.  Jane brings substantial business experience and has proven herself to be a true conservative voice.  This election will be very difficult and I am sure Jane would appreciate any support you can give.  If you would like to volunteer to assist in the campaign you can contact her campaign office at 716-220-6837 or go to her website www.janecorwin.com <http://www.janecorwin.com>
